MALE PERSON ARRESTED FOR RECENT BURGLARIES IN JAMESTOWN

A male person has been arrested and charged in relation to two recent burglaries in Jamestown.

The male appeared before the Magistrates Court today, Thursday 21 December 2017, where he was further remanded into custody by the Court.

St Helena Police continue to appeal to the public for any information. Members of the community who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area of the ‘Geek Boutique’ and ‘Sharon’s Shop’ in Upper Jamestown between 5.30pm on Friday, 15 December 2017, and 9.30am on Saturday, 16 December, are encouraged to contact the Police with any information related to these burglaries, regardless of how minor they may consider their information.
