Excavation work on Ladder Hill Road has now been completed and the area will be made safe this afternoon.
The public is therefore advised that from 4pm today, Wednesday 25 October 2017, Narrabacks and the Jamestown Fuel Station will reopen as normal. Ogborn House and the Prison will also resume business as usual.
Jacob’s Ladder, Shy Lane and Shy Road remain closed to the public.
The Roads Section will now commence work on the rebuilding of the retaining wall on Ladder Hill Road.
Ladder Hill Road remains fully closed to vehicles and pedestrians until Monday, 30 October 2017.
The public will be kept updated via the local radio stations.
