History was made on St Helena on Tuesday 15 September 2015, as a Beechcraft King Air 200 aircraft touched down at St Helena’s new Airport.
Four minutes of footage – shot from within the cockpit and showing the plane approaching the runway, landing on the Island and making history – will be shown on Local TV 2 from this evening until Monday 21 September, at the following times:
- Today, Friday 18 September, at 6.05pm
- Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September, at 10.10am and 6.05pm
- And Monday 21 September, at 06.50am and 6.05pm
Each short programme with show the four minute footage twice.
