The following is a Public Announcement from the Emergency Planning Department:
The Emergency Planning Department would like to advise the public that it is forecast that St Helena will continue to experience increase wind speeds of 40-45 knots with gusts up to 60 knots from today through to Monday, 12 August 2019.
Wind conditions will vary around the Island and should subside on Tuesday, 13 August.
All boat owners are advised to ensure their moorings are secured in these heavy wind conditions.
