Desk Officer for St Helena and Ascension Island, Andrew Sigley, from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office’ Overseas Territories Directorate (see photo attached) arrived on-Island on Saturday, 24 February 2018, to undertake a week-long visit.
Andrew has a busy programme and amongst other activities will meet with key Government officials and representatives from non-Government organisations. Andrew also has a keen focus on the natural environment and will be undertaking activities and visits to learn more about St Helena’s marine and terrestrial environments.
Andrew will depart the Island on Saturday, 3 March 2018.
