Executive Council met today with just one item on the open agenda. This was to consider an increase in fees and charges under the Road Traffic Ordinance 1985. It was noted that these fees and charges have not increased since April 2013 and that an increase would help to ensure ongoing delivery of SHG services.
Following discussion, Council agreed that the proposed increases which range between 10% to 12% over current rates, should be approved to take effect from 1 December 2018.
Details of these increases will shortly be published in a Legal Notice and via an SHG Press Release.
