Further to the press release of Thursday 30 July 2015 regarding the dry docking of the RMS St Helena, SHG can confirm that the RMS entered Dry Dock on Thursday morning at 11am as planned and work has progressed as expected.
The RMS is now expected to leave Dry Dock on the morning of Wednesday 5 August 2015, embarking passengers that afternoon and commencing cargo operations.
If all goes to plan, the RMS will depart Cape Town on Thursday afternoon, 6 August 2015, with an anticipated arrival date at St Helena on Tuesday 11 August. She will remain at St Helena for a short call period before continuing her schedule, arriving at Ascension on Friday 14 August – two days later than originally planned.
A W Ship Management Ltd is now working on details of the RMS’ onward schedule.
