CRIMINAL DAMAGE IN THE CASTLE GARDENS

The public is advised that the St Helena Police Service is currently investigating a report of criminal damage which occurred in the Castle Gardens, Jamestown, between the hours of 9pm on Friday night, 21 April, and 8.30am on Saturday morning, 22 April 2017.

The criminal damage involved the destruction of the concrete chess table which had been donated to Mr Anthony Caswell for his years of dedicated service to the maintenance and up keeping of the Castle Gardens.

The Police Service appeals to the public to come forward with any information in relation to this offence to ensure that the offender is brought to justice.
